Uisce Éireann are fixing a major water pipeline this Bank Holiday weekend. This could affect you. Want to learn more?
Uisce Éireann will repair the Ballymore Eustace to Saggart water mains pipeline in a 27 hour round-the-clock effort over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
The pipeline brings some 220 million litres of water daily from the Poulaphouca Reservoir to much of Dublin City and County as well as parts of North Kildare and the immediate area of the reservoir.
This is the third annual fix of this pipeline. The two previous repairs on other sections of the pipeline were completed in 2024 and 2025.
This weekend’s repair work will fix 15 leaks and a damaged pipeline.
Your water supply may be disrupted temporarily between 31 July and 2 August.
If you see discoloured water from your mains tap, read our recent post (https://clonskeaghresidents.ie/2026/06/10/discoloured-water/) about resolving the matter.
Uisce Éireann would be grateful if you kept your water use to a minimum during this period.
