
Think parking “just for a minute” does no harm? It could be making daily life harder for your neighbours—here’s why responsible parking matters more than you think.
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council published a video on the problems created by illegal and inconsiderate parking.
Problems
Illegal and inconsiderate parking causes these problems:
- Cars blocking roads
- Cars blocking footpaths
- Cars blocking entrances and
- Cars using disabled parking spaces when they should not.
Who’s affected
These problems can make life harder for:
- People with disabilities
- Older people and
- Parents with prams or buggies
- Children using the road or footpath.
